No.11 Cavendish Square is an AIM accredited Gold venue, situated right in the heart of London. The fully restored Georgian Grade II listed townhouse provides a variety of spaces and services and plays host to conferences, events, weddings and parties.
The management at No.11 Cavendish Square required a full upgrade of their site, that would allow them to effectively market to their target audience and provide them with a strong sales tool.
Previously the team did not have the functionality to update their site content in-house, so providing a powerful and intuitive bespoke CMS was key to the brief. It was also important to the team at No.11 Cavendish Square that they could manage their day-to-day marketing through the site and that it had functionality to post news and upload new brochures, to ensure that content is always fresh.
The key challenge of the project was devising a way to provide a wealth of information in a clean and cohesive manner, so that visitors can find everything that they need to allow them to make a purchasing decision and so that the site can compete with those of other venues. All content needed to be editable via a bespoke CMS, so that everything that appeared on the front-end was supported via the back-end administration and the site could be fully managed in-house.
Alongside this challenge was the need to ensure the design matched the quality and image of the venue and that it was fully mobile responsive, allowing all visitors to access it from wherever they are.
We created an eye-catching site, with a focus on bold, striking imagery, which allows the quality of the venue to be seen across every page. We worked closely with the venue to create the optimum navigation pathways, so that users can find their way to relevant information. We also worked with a third-party provider to integrate with Planit software, which enables the display of dynamic room plans and virtual tours across the site. This functionality allows visitors to view a variety of different layouts, including placement of AV equipment and fire exits. Providing such detailed information so clearly, allows visitors to make decisions about room suitability, without the need to physically visit the venue.
The bespoke CMS admin allows the team at No.11 Cavendish Square to update images across all pages and galleries and requires that the uploaded images are of a specific size and resolution to maintain the quality on the front-end. Administrators also have the facility to upload new brochures as they become available.
