The challenge of streamlining operations was creating a solution which worked for everyone cohesively. It needed to improve efficiency, cutting down on the time spent by visitors booking suitable treatment and the time spent by the UK Therapy Guide team managing therapists and bookings.
The needs of each user are different. Visitors to the site needed to be able to either reach out to UK Therapy Guide and be matched up with a suitable therapist, or search for the relevant one and have control over making contact themselves. Therapists needed to be able to register with the service, advertise their services and availability, update their profiles and contact potential clients. The UK Therapy Guide team needed to be able have an open dialogue with therapists through the back-end, manage payments and view historical booking, payment and therapist subscription details.
The offering for all parties needed to be strengthened in a consistent and sustainable way.
